Mikka Jacobsen is the author of the essay collection Modern Fables, which won the 2023 Alberta Book Publishing Award for Non-Fiction, and the story collection Good Victory, forthcoming with Freehand Books in February 2025. Her work has appeared in Joyland, The Fiddlehead, Prairie Fire, The Missouri Review, and Lit Hub, among others. She lives in Calgary, AB, on Treaty 7 territory.
