Sue Sinclair is a poet, teacher and editor who grew up on Beothuk territory in the city of Saint John’s. Her latest books are Almost Beauty: New and Selected Poems (Goose Lane Editions, 2022), which won the NB Poetry Book Award and was shortlisted for the Derek Walcott Poetry Prize, and the chapbook essay At the Frog Pond: On Ecological Beauty in the Climate Crisis (Emergency Flash Mob Press, 2023). She lives in Fredericton on Wolastoqiyik territory and is co-director of Creative Writing at the University of New Brunswick.
