Word Feast presents David Huebert

David Huebert will read from his short story collection Peninsula Sinking (Biblioasis, 2017) on March 15, 7pm at Westminster Books (445 King St.). The reading is free and open to the public.

David Huebert is a Canadian writer of fiction, poetry, and critical prose whose work has won the CBC Short Story Prize, the Sheldon Currie Fiction Prize, and The Walrus Poetry Prize, among other awards. David’s work has been published in magazines such as The Fiddlehead, EVENT, enRoute, and Canadian Notes & Queries, and was recently anthologized in Best Canadian Stories 2017.“By far the most well-crafted and rewarding short stories I have read in recent years, Peninsula Sinking places David Huebert at the forefront of an exciting new wave of Canadian fiction.”
