As we receieve submissions for the upcoming BIPOC Solidarities special issue, we'll be featuring our wonderful team of editors who are working to bring the issue together.
This special issue is meant as an opening, extending the invitation to BIPOC writers to transform the content and spirit of The Fiddlehead far beyond a single issue; this issue is a commitment to transformation and accountability.
Phoebe Wang - BIPOC Solidarities Special Issue Editor:
Phoebe Wang is a Chinese-Canadian writer based in Toronto. Her poetry collection Admission Requirements (McClelland and Stewart, 2017) was nominated for the Trillium Book Award. Her collection Waking Occupations is forthcoming in Spring 2022. She works at OCAD University and will serve as Writer-In Residence at UNB in Fall 2021. She is also an incoming poetry editor at The Fiddlehead.
