This Album Has Spirit

By now everyone has likely heard “Spirits,” the first track of The Strombellas' new album Hope that’s seemingly taken over the airwaves. It is a very catchy anthem and I instantly fell in love with the song when I first heard it on local CBC on my way home from work a few weeks ago. I downloaded it when I got home, but it took me a little while to go back and check out the whole album. And I can tell you that the whole album is just as good. If you like big uncluttered sound, rousing choruses that verge on battle cries, then you’ll love this album. But if you don’t, then some of these earworms just might convert you. Give it a listen and I guarantee you will be clapping and singing along.
