Marco Melfi is a graduate of Simon Fraser University’s The Writer’s Studio. His poems have appeared in The Antigonish Review, The New Quarterly, Prairie Fire, The Arc Award of Awesomeness, Funicular, and FreeFall. His chapbook, In between trains, was published in 2014 and his poem "The Faulty Porch Light" won The Fiddlehead's 2021 Ralph Gustafson Poetry Contest. He lives in Edmonton on Treaty 6 Territory.
John Barton’s books include Polari, We Are Not Avatars: Essays, Memoirs, Manifestos, and The Essential Douglas LePan, which won a 2020 eLit Award. Lost Family, his twelfth book of poetry, was nominated for the 2021 Derek Walcott Prize. His poetry was most recently featured in The Fiddlehead in the Spring 2022 issue. He lives in Victoria, where he is the city’s fifth poet laureate.
Pamela Yuen was born to Hong Kong migrants in rural Ontario. She is an expressive writing facilitator with the Toronto Writers’ Collective and serves as an executive committee member of Canadian Authors Association, Toronto Branch. Rebecca Rustin writes and ghostwrites internet and sometimes textbook copy, translates things from French to English, and loves trashy reality TV. Poems appear in PRISM, various rob mclennan outlets, the Rahila's Ghost chapbook Mercy Tax, and elsewhere. Her poem "A Little Learning" was published in the Spring 2022 issue of The Fiddlehead.
Judy LeBlanc’s collection of short stories, The Promise of Water was published in 2017. Her work has appeared in numerous Canadian literary journals, most recently, Prairie Fire, and she’s currently completing a collection of personal essays.She lives on the unceded traditional territory of the K’ómoks First Nation. Judy's creative nonfiction essay "Beneath the Din" is featured in the Spring 2022 issue of The Fiddlehead.
Sarah Moses’ writing and translations have appeared in anthologies, chapbooks, and journals. She co-translated Sos una sola persona by Stuart Ross and Die, My Love by Ariana Harwicz, which was longlisted for the International Booker, among other prizes. Sylvie Simmons, a Londoner living in San Francisco, is an award-winning author, journalist and singer-songwriter. Her books include a short-story collection Too Weird for Ziggy, and several biographies, including I'm Your Man: The Life Of Leonard Cohen. Her latest album is Blue On Blue, on Compass Records. Sylvie's short stories Story with no Story, Hide and Seek and There's A Dead Man In The Park are featured in the new Spring issue of The Fiddlehead.
Bob Armstrong (www.bobarmstrong.ca, Twitter: @bobarmsnovelist) lives in Winnipeg, where he writes long and short fiction and creative non-fiction and works as a speechwriter. He’s been a reporter, PR professional, playwright, performer and environment impact report writer. His second novel, Prodigies (Five Star/Gale), was published in 2021. Simon Turner’s poetry has been published by Plenitude Magazine and bird, buried press. They participated in Arc Poetry Magazine’s 2020/21 poet-in-residence mentorship program, have had four plays staged in Peterborough, and a short story in We Shall Be Monsters (Renaissance Press).
