Congratulations to all the winners of the 39th National Magazine Awards, just handed out this past weekend in Toronto. Congratulations to Fiddlehead contributor Rachel Rose for her honourable mention in the poetry category for her poems "Corona for Charlotte," "Good Measure," and "Sunflowers" that appeared in Spring 2015 (no. 265). And congratulation to our regular review contributor Richard Kelly Kemick who took home gold in the “One of a Kind” essay category for “Playing God,” his piece published in The Walrus about his obsession with building the perfect miniature Christmas village.
Congratulations to Daniel Kincade Renton, contributor to WInter 2013 (no. 254), who was a runner-up for the Blodwyn Memorial Prize. for his poem "Anagram Rondeaus: a Nuptial Suite."
And just last weekend R.W. Gray, creative writing professor at UNB and past Fiddlehead contributor (most recently in Summer 2013 Fiction issue), won the East Coast Literary Awards' $25,000 Thomas Raddall Atlantic Fiction Award for his book Entropic.
