The Odd Sundays reading series gathers again on Sunday, March 18 at Corked Wine Bar, 83 Regent Street, beginning at 2 PM. The two readers this time around are Roger Moore and Alexis McCormack.
Roger Moore lives with his cat, Princess Squiffy, in Island View, New Brunswick, but on the other side of the hill from the river. As a result, although there are deer, raccoons, snowshoe hares, black bears, red and grey squirrels, and black and white skunks, there is not an island in sight. Roger has won multiple awards for his short stories and poetry. Bistro, a collection of short fiction from which Roger will read, was one of three finalists for the New Brunswick Book Award (Prose Fiction), 2016-17.
Alexis McCormack is currently a fourth year student at St. Thomas University, in the process of completing an English Honours with a Concentration in Creative Writing. Last semester she was on exchange in South Korea through STU's exchange program, and returned this semester to graduate in the spring. Alexis intends to pursue social work, and later to study, travel, and write elsewhere.
