Odd Sundays presents Sue Sinclair and Nick Thran

The Odd Sundays Reading Series returns on November 6 with featured readers Sue Sinclair and Nick Thran. The reading begins at 2pm at Corked Wine Bar (83 Regent Street) and is free to the public.

Sue Sinclair is a poet whose most recent collection is Heaven's Thieves (Brick Books 2016). She is the author of four previous collections, all of them nominated for regional and/or national awards including the Atlantic Poetry Prize (twice), the Gerald Lampert Award, the Pat Lowther Award, and the Acorn/Plantos People's Prize. She also recently completed a PhD in philosophy on the subject of beauty.  She now lives in Fredericton, NB, where she teaches creative writing at the University of New Brunswick.

Nick Thran is the author of three collections of poems, most recently Mayor Snow. His previous collection, Earworm, won Ontario's Trillium Book Award for Poetry in 2012. Last year he was the 2015-2016 Canadian Writer in Residence at the University of Calgary. This summer he moved to Fredericton, where he is a full-time Dad and an editor for Brick Books.
