Nicole Chatelain’s Reading Recommendation

Nicole Chatelain lives with her husband and two children in Ottawa, where she teaches in the Professional Writing program at Algonquin College. She is finishing her undergraduate English degree with Athabasca University. Her essay "Without A Net" is featured in the new all-creative nonfiction issue of The Fiddlehead, and her writing has also been published in The Ekphrastic Review. Megan Cole’s Listening Recommendation

Megan Cole is a tattooed food enthusiast with an obsessive reading habit. Her essays have appeared in The Puritan, untethered and more. She’s writing her first book Head Over Feet: The Lasting Heartache of First Loves. Megan lives and works on the territory of the Tla’amin Nation on the coast of British Columbia. Andrea Bishop's Reading Recommendations

Andrea Bishop’s work has been published or is forthcoming in Grain, Orca Literary, Exile’s CVC Anthology Series, and elsewhere. Her story "Good Dog" is featured in the new creative nonfiction issue of The Fiddlehead. She is currently finishing a short story collection and working on her first novel. . Jenny Ferguson's Music Recommendation

Jenny Ferguson (she/her) is Michif and white, an activist, a feminist, an auntie, and an accomplice with a PhD. She believes writing, teaching and beading are political acts. THE SUMMER OF BITTER AND SWEET, her debut YA novel, was published by Heartdrum/HarperCollins in Summer 2022. She teaches at Loyola Marymount University. Jenny's essay "Floods and Other Disasters" was published in the Summer 2022 creative nonfiction issue of The Fiddlehead.
