Cindy King was born in Cleveland and grew up swimming in the shadows of hyperboloid cooling towers on the shores of Lake Erie. She currently lives in Southern Utah, where she don't know a butte from a bluff. She is an Assistant Professor of Creative Writing at Dixie State University. Let me make the case that the greatest TV show of all time is the German comedy, Der Tatortreiniger—that’s “Crime Scene Cleaner” in English. It’s an auteur comedy starring Berne Madel as our everyman-with-a-gross-but-interesting-job. Over the course of 31 episodes they explore every aspect of death, and more importantly, life.

NotaBle Acts Theatre Company is pleased to have Anna Chatterton as Playwright in Residence for their 2017 Summer Theatre Festival, which runs July 25-August 5 at locations throughout Fredericton. Anna will be giving a free playwriting workshop on Saturday, July 22nd at Carleton Hall on the UNB campus.
