Cynthia Hogue has published nine poetry collections, including Revenance (2014) and In June the Labyrinth (2017). Her co-translations include Nathalie Quintane’s Jeanne Darc and Nicole Brossard’s Lointaines (forthcoming, Omnidawn), both with Sylvain Gallais. She is the Inaugural Marshall Chair in Poetry Emerita Professor of English at Arizona State University. Geneviève Paiement’s poetry, journalism and essays have appeared in Seneca Review, Tupelo Quarterly, the Literary Review of Canada, the Malahat Review, the New York Times, and elsewhere. She is a Canada Council for the Arts grant recipient and a candidate in the University of Guelph’s Creative Writing MFA program. Her Instagram is @manygenderedmompoems.
Elena Johnson is the author of Field Notes for the Alpine Tundra (Gaspereau, 2015), a collection of poetry written at a remote ecology research station in the Yukon. A finalist for the CBC Literary Awards and the Bailey Prize, she lives in Vancouver, where she works as an editor and writing mentor. Her poem Casa Museo Manuel de Falla was featured in the Winter 2020 issue of The Fiddlehead.

Kevin Spenst is the author of Ignite, Jabbering with Bing Bong (both with Anvil Press), and over a dozen chapbooks including Pray Goodbye (the Alfred Gustav Press), Surrey Sonnets (JackPine Press), and most recently Upend (Frog Hollow Press: Dis/Ability series). Two of Spenst's poem were featured in The Fiddlehead issue 282 (Winter 2020). He lives on unceded Coast Salish territory with the love of his life Shauna Kaendo.
Arleen Paré has published five books: Paper Trail, Leaving Now, Lake of Two Mountains, He Leaves His Face in the Funeral Car, and The Girls With Stone Faces. Originally from Montreal, she now resides in Victoria, where she lives with her partner, Chris Fox.
Margo Wheaton is one of the contributors to Brian Bartlett's section of reflective prose in our 75th anniversary issue. Brian selected poets who didn't publish their first collections until the age of fifty or later. Wheaton's debut poetry collection The Unlit Path Behind the House won a Canadian Authors Association award and was shortlisted for the Gerald Lampert Award, the Fred Cogswell Award for Literary Excellence, the J. M. Abraham Award, and the Relit Award. She an associate poetry editor at The Dalhousie Review.

Jónína Kirton is one of the authors whose reflective prose is featured in Brian Bartlett's section of our 75th anniversary issue. She is a Red River Métis/Icelandic poet, and was sixty-one when she received the 2016 Vancouver’s Mayor’s Arts Award for an Emerging Artist in the Literary Arts category.
