Patrons of odd sundays will gather once again at Corked Wine Bar, 83 Regent St. at 2 P.M. on January 29th to hear readings from poets Sarah Cooper and Lucas Crawford.
The first Odd Sundays of 2017 arrives on January 15 at Corked Wine Bar, 83 Regent St. beginning at 2 P.M. Please consider braving the elements and coming to listen to readings of poetry and fiction from Nicole Goodwin and Robert Gray. As always, there will be an open mic after the featured readers, and a chance to win a prize during our book draw.

November has been National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), and on Sunday, Dec. 4, odd sundays will offer local novel writers an opportunity to read from their work. So come to Corked Wine Bar, 83 Regent St. at 2 P.M. on Sunday, Dec. 4, to hear some of the Fredericton participants in NaNoWriMo 2016 read excerpts from their novels.
Poetry co-editor Phillip Crymble has won The Puritan's Thomas Morton Memorial Prize for Poetry for his poem "Paydays." Judge Jan Zwicky says, "Phillip Crymble has a superb ear. Sue Sinclair and Jennifer Houle will be reading from their new collections of poetry Heaven’s Thieves and The Back Channels this Thursday, November 24th at 8pm in Carleton Hall room 139 on the UNB campus. The event is free to the public and all are welcome to attend.

At a ceremony last night at Government House, M. Travis Lane received the 2016 Lieutenant-Governor's Award for High Achievement in the Arts from Her Honour Jocelyne Roy Vienneau. The award recognizes the outstanding contribution of artists to the arts in New Brunswick. Congratulations Travis!
